The Verna has always been a very important car for Hyundai and the company has always kept the car updated with new features and technology in the form of facelifts. The Korean manufacturer launched the updated MY 2016 Verna in February 2016 and also has dropped the 4S Fluidic from the name. The 2016 update gets ABS-EBD and dual front airbags standard across the variants.
Hyundai had infused some freshness into the car in 2015 with the Fluidic version 2.0 design philosophy, increasing the car’s resemblance to its elder sibling, the Sonata. The car retained its predecessor’s silhouette. The creases along the side profile and on the bonnet have been revised, giving the car a fresh look. The front grille has been revised with two chrome slats while the headlamps get an edgier swept-back design. The rear of the Verna continues the understated look with redesigned tail lamps, a two-tone rear bumper and a concealed exhaust.
